Guided Fishing
We offer two types of guided fishing adventures during the open-water season – motorized and paddling.
Numerous lakes along the Gunflint Trail reside outside (or partially outside) the BWCAW and therefore motorboats are allowed. Lakes within the BWCAW are limited to paddle power only.
Fishing on both types of lakes can be outstanding! It simply boils down to what kind of experience you want.
Check out the different fish species you can catch along the Gunflint Trail.
Regardless if you are a seasoned angler, or new to fishing, we’ve got you covered. The goal is always to catch fish, but at the end of the day we believe it shouldn’t come at the expense of relaxing, enjoying the outdoors, and having fun!
Experienced anglers – If you are the type of person that likes to try numerous locations, change-up presentations, experiment with techniques, target multiple species, and basically fish hard – then we will certainly get along!
Novice anglers – I pride myself on being a patient teacher, whether in a boat or on the ice. At the end of the day, I want you to come away with great memories, a fun adventure, learn something along the way, and of course catch fish! I am happy to walk you through every detail of the trip – lure selection, picking locations, fish behavior, how to read a fish finder, how to clean your catch, etc. Think of it as a fishing 101 class.
